Join me on my adventures!
My name is Kerry Callahan, although most of you who will be reading already know this I thought I’d start with a quick introduction. A newly unemployed pelvic floor/ortho physical therapist I left the job I love . The last time I wrote anything non-medical based was 3+ years ago. Bare with me as I try to remember grammer, spelling, and descriptors outside the medical field. Other than my love of the pelvic floor my passions are the outdoors, hiking, and conversing with new and interesting people. As a Gemini I am fascinated and intrigued by all things new and different. Venturing outside my comfort zone is an every day goal.
It is hard to pin point when I began planning this trip. I fell in love with travel Summer of 2012 when my highschool friend turned freshman year college roommate, Colleen, and I traveled through Europe. I never did a gap year. I never studied abroad. I have done many 1-2 week vacations that have left me yearning for more. The moment I graduated with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy I stareted saving and planning. 2 years I told myself , I’m going to quit and take my gap year . Well 3 years later...it’s happening.
